Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer proficient in backend development with Python and Django, and frontend development using React. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web application development and be capable of building scalable and efficient applications.
Responsibilities:
- Research and integrate emerging geospatial technologies to enhance mapping features.
- Implement data visualization tools to present geospatial and sensor data effectively to end-users.
- Develop automated scripts for data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation from sensor inputs to the database.
- Optimize API performance for high-volume data exchanges and real-time processing.
- Conduct regular code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team.
- Implement robust security measures for APIs, databases, and other system components to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Create detailed documentation for all developed systems, including APIs, server configurations, and workflows.
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop and execute test cases for ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Support cloud-based and on-premise deployment configurations for scalability and flexibility.
- Provide technical training and support to team members for maintaining and expanding system capabilities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django for backend development.
- Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend development.
- Familiarity with geospatial technologies and data visualization tools.
- Experience with data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation processes.
- Understanding of API optimization and real-time data processing.
- Knowledge of security best practices for APIs and databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
